Antibiotics drugs fight against the infections comes from the bacteria found in both animals and humans. It is also known as antimicrobial drugs and these are used to fight infections either by making it difficult for the bacteria to multiply and grow or killing the bacteria. Antibiotics don’t have any effect on viruses.Since antibiotics for example penicillin, became extensively available in the 1940s, without harming the other cells of the host, they have been able to remove bacteria. But with the passage of time, antibiotics immune bacteria have become more and more common. This leads an alarming problem. So that the strains bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics are beginning to appear. As a result, diseases such as penicillin-resistant gonorrhea and tuberculosis are reemerging on a worldwide scale.According to me, overuse of antibiotics can lead to many problems such as, untreatable gonorrhea, increase fatal diarrhea cases in children, drive up drug and Hospital costs and can upset sensitive gut flora. Antibiotic resistance is also accelerated with the misuse and overuse of antibiotics and reduces the effectiveness of chemicals, drugs and other agents prepared to cure infections. Overuse of antibiotics can develop antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Every time a person takes antibiotics helps the resistant bacteria to grow and multiply but at the same time, sensitive bacteria that antibiotics can still kill are killed. From the past few years, antibiotics, resistance has been increased intensely and reached a level that places future patients in real danger. Klebsiella pneumonia, Escherichia coli microorganism which are pathogens and commensals for animals and humans have become increasingly resistant to third-generation cephalosporins. (CITE)Antibiotics are not effective for viral infections such as flu, bronchitis, common cold, many ear and sinus infections and sore throats.to ensure detections and appropriate use of resistance, long and short-term use of antibiotics for prevention of infections should be taken under the direction of the healthcare professionals.By the use of proper vaccines may lower the demand for antibiotics and resistant problems e.g. Vaccines against the most common pathogens affecting acute otitis media today, pneumococcus and Haemophilus influenza.
