It is imperative to spread a full awareness about the nature of child abusing and what are its types to address the severity of the offense. The following literature review elaborates different aspects of the problem and also highlights its impact.LITERATURE REVIEWChild AbuseChild abuse can be defined as an act of any adult which causes severe emotional and physical damage to a child. (Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, 2018) Moreover, the same department implicates the meanings of the term “sex trafficking” through which a custodian or parent gets money to enforcing a child and minor to involve in sexual business.Effects of Child AbuseChild abusing is an abhorrent practice and can impact a child in several ways including physically, psychologically as well as behaviorally. Experiencing child abuse can pose myriad of effects on a kid even when they grew up, the aftermaths remain. Apparent effects could be scrapes, bruises, broken bones, sprains and burn marks and welts. The victim child may feel hindrance in walking and sitting etcetera. Moreover, blood spots or stained and ripped clothes also refered to a possible case of child abuse.
