Firms can also employ the use of personal policies to make sure that the activities of customers are monitored during the purchase period. The concept includes employment of workers who would act as agent to monitor sensitive areas such as fitting rooms. The employees then present the feedback to the management. Proper training is necessary to enable workers understand their responsibilities. With the understanding of what a worker is required to do, he or she acts as a reliable source of information concerning the performance of customers. There is a need for people to be made aware of the dangers associated with shoplifting. The shoplifters also should be treated with consideration of the state of mental well ness. Individuals pretending of being mentally challenged should be treated in accordance to the set rules.
